Harry Kane, Lucas Moura and Davinson Sanchez have taken to social media to express their delight at sealing their place in the Carabao Cup semi-final.
It was a typical closely contested London derby at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium yesterday as West Ham United pushed Antonio Conte’s men to the limit.
Steven Bergwijn, who got his first start under Conte, gave the home side the lead after combining impressively with Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg but the Hammers quickly restored parity through Jarrod Bowen.
Spurs then struck again through Moura, with Bergwijn turning provider and the Lilywhites carried the 2-1 lead into half-time.
While the home side started the second-half impressively, they dropped deeper as the game went on as the Hammers monopolised possession.
However, the North Londoners were able to prevent David Moyes’ men from creating too many clear-cut chances and managed to see out the win.
They will now face Chelsea in a two-legged semifinal in January for a place in the Carabao Cup final at Wembley.

Spurs Web Opinion
I was impressed with the concentration we showed defensively in the final 20 minutes. All our players were completely switched on and despite allowing West Ham to have the ball, we restricted them to just speculative long-range efforts in the second half.
