Tottenham Hotspur have finally revealed footage of their new summer signing Bryan Gil undergoing fitness tests around two weeks after they secured his transfer from Sevilla.

While Gil was signed from the La Liga club last month for £21.6m and with Erik Lamela going the other way, he has only just arrived in North London.

The Spanish winger was a part of his country’s Olympic squad this summer in Tokyo, making it all the way to the final. While he did pick up a silver medal for his troubles, Gil lost out to Brazil in the final.

The Spurs man came on at half-time in the final, even crashing a shot against the bar just before full-time. Brazil went on to win in extra-time.

Tottenham have now seemingly revealed that Gil has arrived in N17 ahead of the new Premier League season, with the Lilywhites set to face Man City this Sunday.

On his Instagram, Gil reposted the video to his fans and followers with the caption ‘I’m ready’.

Spurs Web Opinion:

Gil looks to be a very exciting prospect. He may not be one to instantly slot into the starting XI, especially on the left side with Heung-min Son and Steven Bergwijn, however, he looks to be one for the future.
