There is no doubt over where the majority of Tottenham’s goals are likely to come from this season and that is a certain Mr Harry Kane.
Since coming through the academy at Spurs, Kane has established himself as one of the Premier League and the world’s very best centre-forwards.
The Tottenham hitman already has two Premier League Golden Boots to his name, as well as a World Cup Golden Boot, but will he get another this season.
Kane scored three goals in his Prem breakthrough season at Spurs back in 2013/14, playing just 10 games for the Lilywhites in the competition, mainly as an option from the bench (Wikipedia).
However, he then followed this up with 21 goals from 34 games in 2014/15 and 25 goals from 38 games the season after that.
He improved yet again by racking up 29 goals in just 30 games in 2016/17, before achieving a career-best of 30 in 37 in the 2017/18 campaign.
An injury-hit season last time out saw his Prem games restricted to 28, with the England captain still managing 17 goals.
However, BT Sport (via The Script) believe that Kane will improve on last season’s total by racking up 24 Premier League goals in the 2019/20 season.
Despite this, they also predict that Salah will scoop the golden boot yet again with a whopping 29 goals.
