Tottenham Hotspur are currently second in the Premier League after beating Newcastle 1-0 yesterday, although Man City do have the chance to retake the position with a point or more against Arsenal today.
Spurs have managed to kick on in the Prem this season, achieving their best ever total at this point, all without making a single signing.
In fact, Tottenham are the first team in history not to sign a new player in the summer transfer window, and now the entire season.
A strange record to have, but it does highlight the strength of this Spurs side, and the potential if they brought in say one world class addition.
Owen Hargreaves believes he knows the missing link to Tottenham’s title charge, claiming that Wilfried Zaha would be a fantastic addition to the Spurs squad.
He also states that the only way they can get to the next level is with a new world class star.
Hargreaves said (BT SPORT – as reported by the Express): “The fact they are second is a stunning achievement.

“It shows how good a job Pochettino is doing. Every player that steps in seems to do a job.
“Maybe the only way they are going to get better is with a genuine world-class player.
“He [Pochettino] only wants a player of high character. I think he wants people to fit in and not upset the balance.
“I would like to see Zaha at Tottenham.”
