Tottenham Hotspur are now around 24 hours away from their next Champions League game and it’s a big one.
Spurs welcome Bayern Munich to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in match week two, as they look to build upon their away draw against Olympiacos last time out.
Bayern currently top the group after their 3-0 win over Red Star Belgrade on the opening night and come into the quartet as favourites due to their pot one status.
However, Spurs now have the experience and clout of a Champions League Final behind them and no team, no matter how big, will fancy a trip to the new White Hart Lane.
Toby Alderweireld and Jan Vertonghen both sound excited to get back out there under the lights and the famous Champions League anthem.
It has not yet been confirmed if these two will start the match together, especially after the heavy efforts against Southampton on Saturday in which Spurs went down to ten men.
