Tottenham winger Jack Clarke has sent a message conveying his excitement at starting his loan spell with QPR.
Spurs confirmed on Thursday that they had agreed on a deal with Rangers that would see Clarke joining the Championship club on loan for the second half of the season.
Clarke became Tottenham’s first summer signing in 517 days when Mauricio Pochettino brought him to North London in July (Sky Sports) for a fee of £10million (Standard).
According to a report from Football Insider, Rangers beat out the likes of Derby County, Millwall, Middlesbrough, Fulham, Swansea City, Nottingham Forest, and Celtic to land Clarke.
After the move was confirmed, the 19-year-old took to social media to post the following message:

Hopefully, Clarke will play much more regularly for Mark Warburton’s side than he did at Leeds in the first half of the campaign. It is crucial that he gets some games under his belt and puts in some good performances before joining up with Tottenham for pre-season next summer. Mourinho has already shown that he isn’t opposed to giving opportunities to young players and so the door is open for Clarke if he proves his worth.
