Carabao Cup fourth round draw – When is it and what ball number would Spurs be?

Tottenham begin their quest in the Carabao Cup this evening (Wednesday, September 22) when they travel to Wolves for the second time this season. 

The first encounter came in the Premier League, which saw Nuno Espirito Santo return to his old stomping ground to claim a slender 1-0 victory. 

The clash at Molineux comes on the second night of action, after the likes of holders Manchester City, Brentford, Liverpool and Burnley all booked their places in the fourth round.

But Tuesday night also saw a couple of upsets from Championship opposition, with Everton and Watford being knocked out by QPR and Stoke respectively. 

There are a further six fixtures tonight, with nine Premier League sides looking to secure their status in the draw.

When is the draw?

The Carabao Cup fourth round draw will take place tonight (Wednesday, September 22).

The draw will take place at the conclusion of Manchester United’s fixture against West Ham, which kicks off at 7.45 pm. The draw will likely begin from around 9.30 pm, or as late as 10 pm if the match at Old Trafford goes to penalties. 

How to watch the draw? 

The draw will be broadcast live on Sky Sports Football, but it can also be followed via the Carabao Cup’s official Twitter and Instagram feeds. 

Who will conduct the draw?

The fourth round draw is being held at Potton Bowls Club in Bedfordshire, with former Spurs manager Harry Redknapp and ex-Manchester City defender Micah Richards set to organise the ties.
