Carragher, Neville, Keane and Wright all predict Spurs vs Aston Villa score

Gary Neville, Jamie Carragher, Roy Kean and Ian Wright  expect Aston Villa to turn over Spurs at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday.

Ange Postecoglou’s men need a response after falling to two back-to-back defeats to Wolves and Chelsea just before the international break.

While Tottenham are without several key players, with Cristian Romero suspended, and with James Maddison and Micky van de Ven recently joining the long-term injury absentees, they will take heart from their home form.

The Lilywhites have a perfect record at home this season barring the London derby against Chelsea, where they had two players sent off.

This game has been billed by some as a potential six-pointer, with pundits backing Villa and Spurs to battle it out for a Champions League spot this season (talkSPORT).

Pundits predict a Tottenham defeat this weekend

Tottenham fans will not be too encouraged by the predictions of the various pundits on The Overlap YouTube channel.

While Wright and Keane both went for Villa to edge out Spurs 2-1, Neville and Carragher believe that Unai Emery’s side will emerge comfortable 3-1 winners.

Spurs Web Opinion

One could argue that Villa come into this game as marginal favourites due to the injuries that Tottenham have at the moment. That could work against the West Midlands side as the pressure is on them and their away form is nothing to write about about.
