Celtic join Spurs in race to sign Man City star.

Craig Bellamy is set to be offered a chance of playing in next seasons Champions League after reports suggest that Harry Redknapp is set to make a £6 million move for the Man City and Wales international.  After their fourth place finish, Redknapp will be backed with a major transfer kitty by Spurs chairman Daniel Levy, which Redknapp has already dipped into to secure the long term future of Modric.

Spurs will have to battle against both Celtic and Everton both of which have shown significant interest in also signing Bellamy, however the lure of Champions League football could be a major attraction for Bellamy and make Spurs his 9th club of his career, with striker Robbie Keane set to be offloaded to Aston Villa.
