Tottenham academy youngster Jun’ai Byfield has opened up about his Spurs dream after watching his best friend make his senior debut.
Tottenham Hotspur boast of some extremely talented teenagers in their academy set-up, and that includes Jun’ai Byfield, who is making a name for himself at the youth level.
The 16-year-old centre-back was one of the star performers for the U18s last season, and he has not looked out of place since being promoted to the U21s this term.
Another man who has made the same jump this season is attacking midfielder Luca Williams-Barnett, who was handed his senior Tottenham debut against Doncaster last week.

Jun’ai Byfield reveals what his Tottenham dream is
Byfield and Luca Williams-Barnett have become best friends, having been together at the Spurs academy for the past six years.
The pair have progressed through the youth ranks together, and the centre-back has now shared what his dream is after seeing his best friend make his first-team debut for Spurs.
Byfield told The Football Academy on BBC iPlayer: “I’ve been at Tottenham with Luca since I was 10 years old. My dream is to captain Tottenham’s first-team and play alongside Luca.”
Mikey Moore and Williams-Barnett will inspire many Spurs youngsters
Williams-Barnett became the youngest ever player to play for Tottenham in the Carabao Cup, being 16 years, 11 months, 24 days old when he came on against Doncaster.
Last year, Moore became the youngest ever player to play for Spurs in the Premier League, and he has since gone from strength to strength.
Many of the teenagers in the Spurs academy will look to the pair as their inspirations and believe that they can follow in their footsteps.
