Chasing pack have work to do believes Dele

According to The London Evening Standard Dele Alli believes Manchester City’s rivals have work to do this summer to close the gap on the new champions.

We were beaten 3-1 on Saturday by City and Pep’s Guardiola charges were crowned Premier League champions less than 24 hours later, when Manchester United were beaten by bottom of the table West Brom.

We are on course for a top-four finish and can restore our 10-point advantage over fifth-placed Chelsea if we win at Brighton on Tuesday.

The article goes on to say we will try to bring in another  centre-back in the summer, as well as a left-back and another attacker.

Alli said: “Everyone will look to improve. Especially in the top six, no one will want to let the gap get too big. It is not up to me to say what we need to improve. City are a great side and I expect everyone to get stronger.”

The article goes on to say Mauricio Pochettino is likely to adjust his line-up for their visit to the Amex Stadium, ahead of his side’s FA Cup semi-final against Manchester United on Saturday.

Heung-Min Son and Serge Aurier, both of whom were on the bench against City, could start.
