As many of you will know, Tottenham’s brand new 62,000 seat stadium is far from finished, with announcements last week stating that matches in the foreseeable future would be moved to Wembley.

Updates came out yesterday from Mace, the construction company behind the new ground, which explained that the delays were down to faults in the fire system wiring.

As if things weren’t bad enough, rival fans then set up an only petition asking for a points deduction for Spurs, on the ground that they had disrupted the Premier League schedule.

And now we have a talkSPORT caller who demands that Tottenham be deducted three points a week until the stadium is finished.

Surprise surprise… he’s a Chelsea fan!

Listen to his call below…

Have something to tell us about this article?

  1. if this Chelsea fan is a member of the Premier League governing body, start worrying. if not, I have already spent too much time on this rubbish. BTW for all those slagging off the THFC stadium project, see “The i” paper today on Crossrail cost and timescale overruns. Even getting a new bathroom put in can have real hassles and probs. so everyone calm down… in peace

  2. chelsea fans must be worried about getting back into the top four . to be trying to get points deducted from us ,as they know that we will finish above them , in a straight fight. becareful what you wish for as you have yet to start building your new ground
