Chelsea legend John Terry sends two-word message to Spurs star after Everton rout

Former Chelsea defender John Terry has taken to Twitter to praise Harry Kane after the striker guided Tottenham Hotspur to a 5-0 win against Everton.

Terry described the England international as ‘world class’ on the social networking platform with Kane’s brace of goals taking him above Thierry Henry in the Premier League top goalscorers list and is one behind Frank Lampard, who was on the receiving end of the thrashing at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium last night.

Kane took his tally for the current campaign to 18 goals in 37 appearances in all competitions (transfermarkt), with ten of those goals coming in the Premier League.

The 28-year-old’s first came eight minutes before half time when he latched onto a through ball from Matt Doherty to beat Jordan Pickford in a one-on-one situation.

His second was also created by Doherty when the right-back’s pin-point pass was superbly executed by Kane when his volley found the bottom corner of the net to round off the scoring.

Kane has shown over the past month that he is in prime form and hopefully it is coming at the right time with Spurs set to travel to Old Trafford to face Manchester United on Saturday evening.
