Chelsea man speaks out on Tottenham in the Champions League

Tottenham Hotspur face Leicester in the Premier League this weekend, but Pochettino will have one eye on their upcoming Champions League fixture.

Spurs are set to face Borussia Dortmund at Wembley next week in the first leg of the round of 16.

The Lilywhites are currently without Harry Kane and Dele Alli, and it is not yet clear whether either will make it back in time for the first leg.

Dortmund are top of the German League so far this season, and are in fine form heading into the European clash.

However, Spurs did manage to pick up wins home and away against the German side last season in the Champions League group stage.

It is sure to be an attacking end-to-end affair at the national stadium, and Spurs may be hoping to take a slim advantage into the second leg, when their star men may be back from injury.

Chelsea’s latest recruit, Christian Pulisic, back on loan at Dortmund from the Blues, has spoke out on the tie ahead.

He said (Bundesliga website): “I think it’s going to be a really attacking, flowing game.

“Obviously they [Spurs] are a good team and so are we, so it’s going to be a really good game. When it comes to the Champions League, now we’re in the knockout rounds anything can happen from here onwards.

“We reached our goal of getting here and now we’ll fight to win every game if we want to go as far as we can.”
