Ukraine star, Georgiy Sudakov, is a wanted man, with Tottenham Hotspur, Chelsea, and Arsenal looking at the Shakhtar Donetsk attacker. But, his international teammate, Chelsea’s Mykhailo Mudryk, has been telling Sudakov to expect lots of pressure if he does move to the Premier League.

The 21-year-old Sudakov is one of the standout performers for Shakhtar having registered ten goals and six assists in 34 appearances this season (Transfermarkt).
Naturally, when any young player has a breakthrough season like that, they become hot property, and Premier League clubs have certainly taken notice of Sudakov’s exploits this year.
Spurs and Chelsea have been mentioned as potential suitors for Sudakov, and ‘frequent talks’ are thought to have taken place already. But, his club are keen to let the player show what he can do at Euro 2024, in the hopes his price will ‘skyrocket’ (Express).

Is Sudakov ready for the Premier League?
Still, according to Chelsea’s Mudryk, Sudakov should think twice before committing to a move to England, and he’s even suggested his compatriot isn’t ready for the switch.
Sudakov told iNews: “We are in touch on a daily basis. He is a big friend of mine. Over the last two months, he has played a lot more and has been much more successful.
“The beginning for him was quite tough, mentally and physically, but step by step he is getting there. When we play in the national team together I have seen how much he has grown as the season has progressed.
“I was telling [Mudryk] about how much I want to play in the Premier League and how it would be great to play in the same team. [He] told me that I was not ready for the kind of pressure that happens in England and if I do come I need to be ready for that. But I am.”
The article also suggests a price tag of £60m will be placed on Sudakov.
Spurs Web Opinion
I would personally not be happy if a friend of mine and one of my peers was telling me I wasn’t ready for a move to the Premier League. Sudakov should focus on his own feelings and not worry about Mudryk’s opinion.
