Christian Eriksen congratulates Spurs player on new deal

Christian Eriksen has taken to Instagram to congratulate Oliver Skipp on signing a new deal at Tottenham Hotspur.

Eriksen departed North London in January with just six months left on his contract when he completed a £16.9million switch to Inter Milan and penned a deal until 2024 with the Italian giants (Sky Sports).

After a six-and-a-half-year spell with Spurs, Eriksen appears not to have forgotten about his former team-mates with a classy message to the young midfielder.

The 19-year-old academy graduate committed this future to the club until 2024 (Spurs official) with Jose Mourinho admitting that Skipp wants to go out on loan next season to continue his footballing education (Sky Sports).

Others to express their joy at Skipp’s deal include Anthony Georgiou, Maurizio Pochettino, Dennis Cirkin, Japhet Tanganga along with Norwich City pair Todd Cantwell and Max Aarons.

The 19-year-old has made 19 Premier League appearances for Spurs since making his top flight debut in the 3-1 win against Southampton in 2018 (transfermarkt).
