Christian Eriksen ended his six and a half year stint at Tottenham Hotspur last week when he swapped North London for Milan.
Eriksen last night made a point of proving that he still has an interest in his former club with his actions on social media.
The Dane took to Instagram to ‘Like’ a post from the club’s official account which featured a photo of Heung-min Son, along with a caption of “@hm_son7 WINS IT!” in reference to the South Korean’s 87th minute penalty which booked Tottenham’s place in the fifth round of the FA Cup following a narrow 3-2 win against Southampton.
Eriksen admitted in an interview with the BBC this week that his decision to run down his contract made him a ‘black sheep’ at Tottenham which led to him becoming a figure of frustration among some Spurs fans.
With just six months left on his contract, Eriksen was sold to Inter Milan prior to the January window closing for £16.9million.
