Christian Eriksen pays tribute to his Tottenham team-mate

Christian Eriksen has praised Moussa Sissoko for how he has turned around his fortunes at Tottenham Hotspur.

The former Newcastle United player has struggled during his first two years since he signed from Newcastle United but this season has looked like a different player.

Sissoko has often looked like a misfit at Tottenham and has also frequently been a scapegoat for supporters.

This summer, Sissoko enjoyed his first proper preseason at Tottenham and has been proving his critics wrong with a series of energetic performances during the current campaign.

His efforts have not gone unnoticed by the Spurs faithful who have begun to sing the name of the French international in recent weeks.

Christian Eriksen has expressed his happiness for his Tottenham team-mate and the club are starting to reap the rewards. Sissoko has also been recently been recalled to the international set-up with France after a year of being overlooked, which saw him miss out on a World Cup winner’s medal.

Eriksen told Football.London: “I have a very good relationship with Moussa,”

“He’s a very good guy. I’m very happy for him.

“True, he had a start up problem when he came but he definitely turned that around and it’s very good for him.”
