‘Cirkin for left-back’ – Some Spurs fans react to the 3-0 friendly win over Ipswich

Tottenham Hotspur took part in their very first pre-season match under Jose Mourinho today as they welcomed Ipswich Town to North London.

The Lilywhites ran away 3-0 winners on the day, with goals coming from Ryan Sessegnon and Heung-min Son in the first half.

Spurs opened the scoring just five minutes into the game when Dele’s delicious cross-field ball fell at the feet of Sessegnon, who took a perfect touch inside and rolled it into the net.

Five minutes later and Spurs were at the double, with Hojbjerg cutting out a loose pass and passing it off to Dele who cushioned the ball to create an easy tap-in for Son.

The South Korean then latched on to a brilliant Foyth through-ball mid-way through the first 45 before beautifully chipping the goalkeeper to make it three.

With Mourinho giving plenty of minutes to the academy youngsters, including an impressive performance from Dennis Cirkin, most Spurs fans on Twitter were pleased.
