Claims of Tottenham ‘dumping’ player are refuted by reliable Sky journalist

Reports in Italy continue to play up the possibility of Tottenham Hotspur offloading a player who impressed in their Champions League win over Eintracht Frankfurt, but one reliable source has rubbished those claims.

A player who arrived through the door at Spurs in the summer is being heavily linked with a shock exit from N17 after failing to set the Premier League alight.

Reports from Italy have suggested that Juventus have contacted Randal Kolo Munai about ending his loan spell at Tottenham and making a temporary move to Turin.

In fact, it has been claimed that Kolo Muani is keen on returning to the Allianz Stadium, while it was revealed by Gianluca Di Marzio that a decision on the Frenchman’s future at Spurs is expected this week.

Juventus tipped to attempt to poach Randal Kolo Muani from Tottenham

A report in TuttoSport has now claimed that the Old Lady were ‘gaining confidence’ about re-signing the 27-year-old on loan.

The outlet asserted that Tottenham had decided to ‘dump’ the striker after the on-loan PSG man himself asked to leave the club.

In fact, it was claimed that Spurs had already held initial talks over terminating Kolo Muani’s loan, with the striker keen on putting his ordeal in England behind him and returning to a familiar environment.

Spurs have no intention of getting rid of Kolo Muani

It is worth pointing out that this report in TuttSport was published ahead of Tottenham’s Champions League clash against Eintracht Frankfurt.

Kolo Muani started and scored his third goal of the season in that game, and the Spurs striker’s display was hailed Thomas Frank.

That may have led the Lilywhites to change their mind on the centre-forward, or perhaps the original reports were simply wide of the mark. Either way, Sky Sports journalist Michael Bridge is now reporting that the North Londoners will not be offloading Kolo Muani.

Bridge explains that despite Sky Italia suggesting that Juventus are keen on signing the striker, Tottenham are not open to cutting short the player’s loan at this stage.

Bridge wrote on X: “Understand Spurs currently have no intention to cut Randal Kolo Muani’s loan from Paris Saint-Germain short. Sky in Italy are reporting that Juventus want to bring the forward back to Turin. However, as things stand, Spurs are not open to letting the France international go.”
