Some Spurs fans on social media admitted that they could not forget Tottenham’s performance this evening soon enough after Jose Mourinho’s men played out a 3-3 draw against LASK.
Going into the game, Tottenham needed just a point to seal a place in the knockout stages of the Europa League and Mourinho named a strong team for the match.
The Spurs boss started with a midfield three of Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, Giovani Lo Celso and Tanguy Ndombele for the first time this season but the Lilywhites failed to take control of proceedings from start to finish.
While Joe Hart would have been disappointed with his part in two of LASK’s goals, a draw is the least that the home side deserved as they posed a constant threat to the Spurs defence throughout the game.
Some Spurs fans were critical of the players and the effort they showed this evening, while others were a bit more pragmatic as they were ready to forget the match and move on after Tottenham did enough to seal their place in the next stage of the competition.
Telly off and never speak of this game again

Less said about that the better. Atleast we can pretty much forget about this dreadful competition until February.

Absolute clown defending, minimal creativity, all over the place and couldn't hold a lead twice 😂😂😂😂
This would be downright depressing, the only saving grace for Spurs was that we only needed a draw to qualify, and draw they did.

Yeah, let’s not chat about that 90 minutes ever again… qualification done. On to the NLD!

Through to the knockouts but that’s a second performance away from home in the group stage which has been poor. Don’t really care right now as we’ve qualified but can’t turn this into a habit as we go into the next round. Onto Sunday, I guess. 🤷🏽♂️

Stinking performance, shambolic from start to finish.
