Club chief reveals Tottenham-linked starlet has three Premier League offers on table

Hull City vice-chairman Tan Kesler has revealed Keane Lewis-Potter has as many as three offers on the table from Premier League clubs amidst alleged interest from Tottenham.

The 21-year-old forward was a bright spark for the Tigers last season despite their 19th place finish, recording 12 goals and three assists as he played in all 46 Championship games (Transfermarkt).

With Hull’s status in the second tier preserved for another season and the prospect of a full campaign under their new ownership, all focus will likely be on retaining their promising starlet.

Lewis-Potter has since cropped up on the radars of plenty of sides in the English top-flight, with all of Tottenham, West Ham and Leicester credited with an interest in acquiring the winger this summer (Daily Star).

And club vice-chairman Kesler has admitted Hull will do all they can to retain Lewis-Potter for next term, but revealed he has three offers available to him from unnamed sides in the Premier League.

Kesler told Turkish outlet Futbol Arena: “We are doing our best right now to keep him. Our President, Acun Ilicali, is particularly interested in this issue.

“I support him as much as I can. We are trying to satisfy Lewis-Potter both financially and trying to build the team around him in terms of the project.

“We are so young. When we bought a risky team, we believed that we could turn it into an opportunity. We are slowly starting to reap the fruits. For example, Lewis-Potter has three offers from the Premier League.”

Lewis-Potter produced an excellent full season with Hull despite their struggles down towards the bottom of the Championship and deserves all the recognition he is getting.

The second tier is a great place to find young talent and Spurs are in need of some more home-grown talent in their ranks, so he would definitely fit the bill in terms of an incoming transfer.
