Club deny issues with new stadium after reports of a recent setback

If all goes to plan with respect to the two test events scheduled for later in the month, Tottenham Hotspur will play all their remaining home games this season at their new 62,062 capacity stadium.

While the move to the new stadium has certainly been a long time coming, Spurs fans are all really excited at the prospect of witnessing their team play in what is claimed to be the best stadium in the country.

The fans in Tottenham’s new stadium will be closer to the pitch than any stadium of comparable size and the venue also has a retractable pitch in order to be able to host NFL games.

However, a report from the Sun claims that the builders might have overlooked an important detail, as they have barely left any space for run-ups at corners.

The club, however, have refuted these claims and have insisted that this has been tested before the design was approved.

According to talkSPORT, a spokesman from the club said, “As you would expect, all aspects have been tested and this is not an issue.”
