According to Croatian coach Marija Kosa, Tottenham Hotspur are picking up a very ‘talented’ player in Luka Vuskovic, but he does have his ‘flaws’ too, such as not possessing a great deal of pace.
Tottenham are not only looking to fix the present with recent signings like James Maddison, Micky van de Ven, and Guglielmo Vicario. They are also thinking about the future, too.
And it’s a bright future, it seems. The club has already acquired top young talents like Ashley Phillips and Alejo Veliz over the summer, but there is one name we will have to wait a little longer to see in the Lilywhite strip.
Luka Vuskovic will join the club in 2025 in a £12m deal (Independent). The 16-year-old is unable to join Spurs until then due to his age, but there are high hopes for when he does arrive.

However, Mladost Zdralovi youth boss, Marija Kosa has highlighted some areas for improvement when it comes to Vuskovic.
Speaking to Index, he said: “Vuskovic played against us in Zdralovi last season. He is extremely talented. He has his virtues and his flaws.

“Given that we knew how Hajduk would play, with a high defensive line, that’s exactly how we got the win. We used the speed of our players because Vuskovic lacks quickness and speed.
“Of course, he is of high quality. But he has good and bad sides. We tried to prevent his excellent passing of the ball and take advantage of the situation where he stays in wide areas, because our players are faster than him.”

You can’t have everything as a player, and Vuskovic clearly has many talents. He’s intelligent, comfortable on the ball, and great in the tackle. If he is a little slow, that’s fine, we will just put him next to Micky van de Ven who is quick enough to cover for anyone.
