Pete O’Rourke has revealed in his column in Football Insider that there are some concerns at Tottenham about Liverpool’s alleged interest in Ange Postecoglou.
The Liverpool hot seat will soon be vacant as Jurgen Klopp is set to leave at the end of the season and some outlets have suggested over recent weeks that the Reds could target Postecoglou as a replacement (The Athletic).
Various publications have since played down the speculation, with Football.London insisting that Tottenham have no fears about losing their head coach while Fabrizio Romano also told CaughtOffside a couple of days ago that the Australian is quite happy where he is.

Tottenham are worried about Postecoglou to Liverpool
However, according to O’Rourke, Tottenham are concerned about the possibility of losing Postecoglou after the Liverpool links emerged.
The journalist adds that the North London club are determined to keep hold of their head coach and have no plans of entertaining any offers from the Reds or any other club.
O’Rourke asserts that the Spurs hierarchy are prepared to back the 58-year-old heavily in the summer transfer window as he goes about building a youthful, exciting side.

Postecoglou will want to finish the job he started at Tottenham and the Australian will know that success at Spurs will do a lot more for his legacy than success at Liverpool, where Klopp would be a difficult act to follow.
