Mauricio Pochettino has named his Tottenham Hotspur side which takes to the field against Manchester City.
As expected, recent signing Giovani Lo Celso takes his place among the substitutes as he continues to acclimatise to life at his new club.
Dele Alli and Ryan Sessegnon are both ruled out with hamstring issues while Heung-min Son and Juan Foyth are still serving a suspension (Spurs official).
Manchester City have won their last four Premier League games against Tottenham Hotspur – they have never won five consecutive league games against them, with this their 141st meeting.
However, Spurs fans will be looking to Harry Kane to continue his goalscoring start to the new season.
Kane failed to score in any of his first 14 Premier League games in August but has since netted in his last three games in the month (four goals), scoring with four of his last five shots on target after failing with his first 10.
This is who starts for Spurs:
Tottenham: Lloris (C), Walker-Peters, Alderweireld, Sanchez, Rose, Winks, Sissoko, Ndombele, Eriksen, Lamela, Kane.
