Confirmed Line Up: Tottenham Hotspur vs Sheffield United

Ryan Mason has named his first Tottenham Hotspur side which will take to the field in this evening’s Premier League clash against Sheffield United.

The Blades have won just one of their last 25 Premier League games in London (D8 L16), beating Crystal Palace 1-0 in February 2020 and have lost all five of their league games in the capital this season by an aggregate score of 12-2.

Tottenham will be looking to bounce back from the disappointing display during last Sunday’s Carabao Cup final defeat to Manchester City in which they failed to threaten the Premier League champions elect throughout the ninety minutes.

A sixth home league defeat of the season would equal Tottenham’s most in any of the past 12 seasons, having finished with that many defeats in 2014-15.

This is who features for Tottenham this evening as confirmed by the official website.

Tottenham Hotspur: Lloris (c), Aurier, Alderweireld, Dier, Reguilon, Hojbjerg, Lo Celso, Dele, Bale, Son, Kane.

Substitutes: Hart, Doherty, Sanchez, Ndombele, Sissoko, Winks, Bergwijn, Lamela, Lucas.

Sheffield United: Ramsdale, Bogle, Baldock, Egan (c), Basham, Stevens, Norwood, Osborn, Fleck, McGoldrick, Brewster.

Substitutes: Foderingham, Lundstram, Berge, Mousset, Lowe, Burke, Jagielka, Robinson, Gordon.
