Spurs head to the Emirates without club record signing Tanguy Ndombele for the second successive match due to a thigh problem.
Mauricio Pochettino is also forced into a change at right-back after Kyle Walker-Peters, who has started every Premier League game this season hobbled off during the second half of the loss to Newcastle United with a hamstring problem.
Defensively, Spurs will be looking to improve; they are one of just two sides to have conceded first in all three of their Premier League games so far this season.
