Confirmed Line Ups: Everton vs Tottenham Hotspur

Mauricio Pochettino has named his Tottenham Hotspur side which faces Everton in the Premier League this afternoon.

Both sides meet at Goodison Park in what is a vital match for Spurs following Chelsea and Manchester City’s defeats to Leicester City and Crystal Palace respectively.

A victory for Tottenham would close the gap on City to just two points, while Liverpool in top spot would be six points better off.

Tottenham have won eight of their 10 away Premier League games this season, already more than they’d won in 20 of their previous 26 completed seasons in the competition, which is certainly a promising stat considering we are on the road.

Everton are winless in their last 22 games against ‘big six’ opposition (D6 L16) since beating Man City 4-0 in January 2017.

A big Spurs performance is needed to send the supporters happy going into Christmas.

Here are the teams:

Everton: Pickford, Keane, Zouma, Coleman, Digne, Gomes, Davis, Sigurdsson, Walcott, Richarlison, Calvert-Lewin

Subs: Stekelenburg, Baines, Mina, Schneiderlin, Bernard, Tosun, Niasse

Tottenham Hotspur: Lloris (C), Trippier, Alderweireld, Sanchez, Davies, Winks, Sissoko, Eriksen, Dele, Son, Kane.

Subs: Gazzaniga, Rose, Foyth, Walker-Peters, Skipp, Lamela, Lucas
