Confirmed Line Ups: Liverpool vs Tottenham Hotspur

Mauricio Pochettino has named his Tottenham Hotspur team for this afternoon’s Premier League clash against Liverpool.

After Manchester United beat Watford yesterday and rivals Arsenal in action at home to Newcastle tomorrow night, Spurs could find themselves in fifth place if they fail to win at Anfield and the Gunners win.

Liverpool are unbeaten in their last 36 home Premier League matches. If they avoid defeat here, it will be the joint-second longest unbeaten home run in the competition’s history (Chelsea 86 2004-2008, Man City 37 2010-2012).

Spurs are winless in their last four Premier League games (D1 L3). They last went five without a win in the same campaign back in February-March 2012 under Harry Redknapp.

They will be looking to Harry Kane to ensure they get something out of the game, Kane has been involved in four goals in four Premier League appearances against Liverpool at Anfield (3 goals, 1 assist)

This is who starts:

Liverpool: Alisson, Alexander-Arnold, Van Dijk, Matip, Robertson, Milner, Wijnaldum, Henderson, Salah, Firmino, Mane

Subs: Mignolet, Fabinho, Lovren, Keita, Lallana, Shaqiri, Origi.

Tottenham Hotspur: Lloris (C), Trippier, Alderweireld, Sanchez, Vertonghen, Rose, Sissoko, Eriksen, Dele, Lucas, Kane.
