Confirmed Line Ups: Tottenham Hotspur vs Inter Milan

Mauricio Pochettino has named his Tottenham Hotspur side that faces Inter Milan in tonight’s crunch Champions League match at Wembley.

The pressure is on as a defeat for Tottenham will see them eliminated from the Champions League, nothing less than three points will keep alive their slim hopes of progressing through to the knockout stages. Spurs have lost two of their last three home games in the competition, which will be something they will be looking to rectify tonight.

Looking at previous meetings, Tottenham have won both of their previous home matches against Inter, 3-1 in the 2010-11 Champions League, and 3-0 in the 2012-13 Europa League.

As expected, Jan Vertonghen has returned to the heart of the defence for the visit of the Italians with Davinson Sanchez (hamstring) and Juan Foyth (ineligible) both unavailable.

Here is the Tottenham Hotspur team:

Tottenham Hotspur: Lloris (C), Aurier, Alderweireld, Vertonghen, Davies, Winks, Sissoko, Lamela, Dele, Lucas, Kane.

Subs: Gazzaniga, Rose, Walker-Peters, Dier, Eriksen, Son, Llorente

Inter Milan: Handanovic; D’Ambrosio, Skriniar, De Vrij, Asamoah; Brozovic, Vecino; Politano, Nainggolan, Perisic; Icardi.
