Richarlison has sent a message to Tottenham fans stating that although things have not gone according to plan for him so far this season, he is determined to achieve big things at the club.
Tottenham paid £60m to snap up Richarlison from Everton last summer, with the Brazilian bought to offer competition for places in the forward line.
He certainly made a promising start to his career at Spurs and even netted a brace in his first-ever Champions League game.
However, the 25-year-old suffered a calf injury back in October that saw him miss seven matches and he subsequently picked up a hamstring injury at the World Cup in Qatar and has not featured in the starting XI since the Premier League’s restart.
Richarlison recovered from his latest injury and returned to the matchday squad for Tottenham’s 1-0 win over Manchester City on Sunday but he remained an unused substitute.
The forward has now sent a message to Brazil’s official Spurs supporters club on social media, promising to deliver his best over the coming months.
He wrote: “I’m coming back. I didn’t start as expected due to injuries. But now I’m 100% and will be able to help the club again. Sometimes things don’t work the way I wanted, but I promise I’ll get back to my best and conquer big things with the club”

Richarlison’s return to fitness is quite timely for Spurs, with the club now about to resume their Champions League campaign.
If we are to progress far in Europe and in the FA Cup while continuing to push for a top-four finish, there is no doubt that the 25-year-old will an important player over the coming months.
