Antonio Conte claimed in his post-match press conference that he would like his daughter to marry someone just like Tottenham’s Heung-min Son.
This comes after Spurs recorded a 2-0 away victory over Notting Forest this evening, although Son was withdrawn early after another below-par performance.
To make matters even more frustrating for the South Korean, his replacement Richarlison assisted the winner with an inch-perfect cross to Harry Kane.
However, Conte has reiterated that Son will always remain an important part of his ‘football vision’ at Tottenham, even if he is suffering in front of goal at the start of the new season.
Son grabbed an assist on the opening day in a 4-1 win over Southampton but has not recorded another goal involvement since then, with Harry Kane leading the goalscoring charge at the moment.
The Spurs winger won the golden boot alongside Liverpool’s Mo Salah last season, so few would bet against him opening his account for the new campaign in the coming games.
On Son, Conte said (Jonathan Veal): “If I have to find a husband for my daughter I would like it to be a person like him. In this moment he is suffering a lot because he is not scoring. Son will always be part of my football vision.”

The whole point of having Richarlison is that it pushes the Spurs front three from last season to be at their best. If someone drops out of form, they have to fight to keep or regain their place. That’s how you build a winning team.
