According to French journalist Ignazio Genuardi, Tottenham Hotspur already have an agreement in place with Nice regarding Jean-Clair Todibo.
While it has been widely reported over the last few weeks that Todibo is Spurs’ top centre-back target for January (TEAMtalk), but over recent days, various reporters have suggested that the Ligue 1 club are unlikely to sell the centre-back during the January window (Football.London’s Alasdair Gold).
The Telegraph’s Matt Law even claimed on Friday that Nice are now hopeful of hanging on to the 23-year-old despite Tottenham’s advances, and that the North London club are now expected to swiftly turn their attentions to Genoa’s Radu Dragusin.
Agreement in place for Jean-Clair Todibo to Spurs
However, if Genuardi’s latest update is to be believed, Spurs are very much still focused on a deal for Todibo, with the French defender continuing to be at the top of their wishlist.
In fact, the journalist even revealed that he had heard from a source in England that the Lilywhites already have an agreement in place with Nice regarding the Les Blues star.
#Mercato #OGCN

Spurs Web Opinion
Spurs fans should take this update with a pinch of salt as it directly contradicts what is being reported by the likes of Alasdair Gold, David Ornstein and Matt Law.
The fact that Genuardi admits that he heard the information from an English source rather than someone close to Todibo or Nice makes the report even more suspect.
