Could it be Turkish delight for Spurs World Cup star?

Turkish side Fenerbahce are eyeing a move for midfielder Mousa Dembele.

The “Yellow Canaries” have already made several additions to their squad this summer and are set to make future changes following the election of Ali Koc as club President and were recently linked with a move for fellow Spur Moussa Sissoko

However, according to the daily Turkish newspaper Fanatik, Fenerbahce director of football Damien Comolli has identified Dembele as a top transfer target this summer.

Comolli is hoping to use his close connection with Tottenham to edge ahead in the race to sign the Belgium international, having previously worked at White Hart Lane under a similar guise.

Serie A giants Inter are also interested in a move for Dembele this summer, but reports last week in the Italian media claimed that Dembele has himself ruled out a move to the San Siro.

Dembele played a total of 39 games for Tottenham during the 2017/18 season but fitness issues have seen the midfield powerhouse lose his starting berth in the Spurs midfield and he faces a further battle with the likes of Eric Dier, Victor Wanyama, the returning Harry Winks and a possible new arrival as Spurs look to add more quality to their squad.
