Could Leeds make a loan offer for Tottenham starlet?

Despite it looking like one of the nailed-on transfers of the window at one stage, Alderweireld’s transfer to Manchester United never materialised, meaning that he will probably be a Spurs player for the 2018/19 campaign.

While this is good news for Pochettino and the Tottenham faithful, one man who may not be celebrating is young Juan Foyth.

The 20-year-old turned down a move to PSG last summer in order to join Tottenham, but has been restricted to limited game time in the cup competitions.

However, during these games, the young Argentinian has looked impressive, and confident on the ball.

Reports suggest that Leeds United may be interested in taking Foyth on loan for the season, providing him with some more regular competitive first team football.

He was linked to a Leeds move earlier in the transfer window, as manager Marcelo Bielsa actually tried to sign Foyth a year ago. Bielsa also managed Pochettino a number of years ago.

If Foyth can recover from a groin injury before the loan window closes, could Leeds be the perfect move for all parties?
