Could this man prove to be the Mousa Dembele replacement Spurs need?

Tottenham Hotspur have a number of players entering the last months of their contract at the North London club.

One of these major doubts for a Spurs stay is midfield maestro Mousa Dembele, who The Sun report will not be signing a new deal.

Many Spurs fans will be extremely sad to see him go, as he brings a very unique style to the centre of the park, and cannot be easily replaced.

Tottenham do need to start thinking about someone to fill his space in the squad though, and with January around the corner, now could be the perfect time.

HITC report that Watford central midfielder Abdoulaye Doucoure could be the man to fill Mousa’s shoes.

The 25-year-old has been a rock in the Watford midfield this season, and has the technical and physical ability to replace Dembele at Spurs.

The Mirror have priced him at around £40m, would he be worth the money for Spurs?
