Some Spurs fans have praised Hugo Lloris after the goalkeeper produced another fine display for France to help them to a 1-0 win over Portugal this week.
Lloris captained Les Blues in their crucial Nations League tie on Saturday and put in a near-flawless display against Cristiano Ronaldo and co to register a clean sheet.
The Spurs stopper produced one save in particular that earned rave reviews as he dived at full-stretch to save on his weaker right-hand side, palming away Joao Moutinho’s powerful drive.
There were a few mistakes starting to creep into the 33-year-old’s game over the past couple of seasons but the Tottenham skipper has been in fantastic form since returning from injury back in January.
He has hardly put a foot wrong at the start of this campaign and has won the Lilywhites some valuable points already with saves such as the one he produced at the Hawthorns from Darnell Furlong’s header with the score still at 0-0.
Some Spurs fans believe that the experienced shot-stopper is not getting the credit that his recent form has deserved.
World class!

Utterly underrated by so many!! You're not picked as No.1 by every manager unless you're top quality!

I can’t recall Lloris making a single mistake since he came back from injury, which has always been the main criticism of him as a goalkeeper… And he’s still making saves like this regularly, so underrated man. pic.twitter.com/PX2nkVoHUH

Hugo Lloris since the restart has quietly been one of the best keepers in the league.
I think the change from Antonio Jiménez to Nuno Santos (Goalkeeper Coaches) has given him a newfound motivation, fresh ideas, and a different method of application.
Criminally Underrated.

Spurs Web Opinion
The few months that Lloris had out with an injury last season seems to have done him a lot of good. He has appeared incredibly determined to prove his quality since his return. He is undoubtedly our greatest goalkeeper of the Premier League era and he certainly deserves some silverware to show for his time at the club.
