Peter Crouch has claimed the team are keen to put their semi-final disappointment behind them and bounce back against Arsenal.

Crouch saw a goal harshly disallowed on Sunday, but knows Spurs can’t dweel ont eh defeat and need to pick themselves up quickly to continue their push for Champions League qualification.

The forward told the Spurs official website, “It was an extremely disappointed dressing room at Wembley after the game on Sunday, because we knew we had a good chance to get to the final.

“But we’re professional people and we have to make sure we put it behind us and get up for Arsenal.

“We were allowed to be disappointed on Sunday night, but now we’re back in training and looking forward to Wednesday.

“We don’t want to be down in the dumps and let our season just flitter away. We have to make sure we’re up for it.

“We’ve got a few injuries, but our squad’s big enough to cope. We’ve got players with enough ability to come in and freshen things up. That can’t be used as an excuse either.”
