Peter Crouch has praised the form of Michael Dawson, after the defender aided the club to two consecutive clean sheets for the first time this season.
Spurs defence has been hit by injuries to defensive lynchpins, Ledley King and Jonathan Woodgate, but Dawson has been impressive in Spurs push for a top four position.
Crouch told reporters, “He’s been brilliant. He heads everything, tackles everything, throws himself in.
“I’ve been back heading my fair share of balls away, but Daws does it for the whole game, every game.
“You need his type of player at somewhere like Blackburn, because you know he will stand up to it, he’ll win his headers, win his tackles and credit to him and the defence for keeping us in the game.”
