Cudicini praises Harry’s influence

Carlo Cudicini believes that Harry Redknapp is the major factor in Tottenham’s unbeaten start to the Premier League campaign.

Cudicini has started Tottenham’s last four matches due to Heurelho Gomes’ injury and will be looking to keep Manchester United quiet on Saturday evening when the champions visit White Hart Lane.

He told BBC London 94.9: “He [Redknapp] has changed the confidence, the belief.

“When players believe in themselves you get results, it’s the best mix.”

“It is difficult when you don’t play for a while to come back into the team, just to get your rhythm back. It’s difficult for a goalkeeper but also an outfield player as well.

“Maybe for us it’s just the mental aspect that is a bit different from an outfield player. You need to get your concentration back and so on. But I’ve played four games in 10 days, which is quite a short period of time.”

“Every manager has got good aspects,” he added.

“Harry is doing a great job here at Tottenham, since he arrived here the team seems to have taken off. This season we are doing very well, so hopefully we are on the right way.
