Sergio Reguilon has been met with a nasty gash on his left leg courtesy of a challenge by Cristian Romero in training.
A full squad of players trained at Hotspur Way last week after the international stars finally returned to pre-season.
The full squad only trained for a couple of days before flying to Australia on Friday for their pre-season tour but it looks as though Romero has already made his presence felt and not in a good way.
The tough-tackling Argentine is known for making more than his share of rash challenges and it appears he does not hold back in training either.
Cristian Romero gets stuck in during pre-season
Reguilon took to Instagram to post an image of a nasty cut on his left shin, with the Spaniard admitting that Romero was the cause of the injury.

Romero, much like the rest of the Tottenham defence, had a campaign to forget at club level last time out and will be hoping to get back to his best under the new regime.
Spurs Web Opinion
Romero has seemingly taken over from his compatriot Erik Lamela in the rashness with his trains. I suspect that most Spurs players would likely pull out of any challenge against the centre-back in training.
