Dani Alves speaks out on his future as free agent searches for new club

Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with Brazilian legend, Dani Alves, over the past week or so, as the right-back is currently looking for a new club (Mundo Deportivo).

Serge Aurier and Kieran Trippier were recently both listed in a Daily Mail article on eight Tottenham stars who could be sold this summer.

Football London have since reported that Tripps could undergo a medical at Atletico Madrid as early as today as he swaps North London for Spain.

If both of these first-team stars were to leave, Tottenham would have just Kyle Walker-Peters as their only senior right-back, so reinforcements may be needed.

Dani Alves reportedly favours a move to Arsenal in order to link up with his old boss, Unai Emery, but his £200,000 per week wage demands may be a sticking point (Sun).

It remains to be seen whether Spurs will make an offer to the Brazilian, who claims that even at 36, he still has much to accomplish in his career and is still a champion.

Alves said (TalkSPORT): “Now I’m free, but I still have a lot to accomplish in my career.

“The only thing that I can say is that the club that sign me will sign a true champion.”
