Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly made advances towards Karl Darlow, who is now approaching the end of his Leeds contract, but Daniel Farke has now sent a message about the goalkeeper.
Since establishing himself as Leeds’ number one over Lucas Perri, Darlow has produced some fine performances between the sticks.
Leeds are all but safe after their latest win over Wolves on Saturday, and the 35-year-old goalkeeper played a key part in the win, making some crucial saves.
It was reported by The Telegraph a couple of days ago that Spurs are considering signing Darlow as a free agent when his contract runs out in June.

Daniel Farke praises Karl Darlow amidst Tottenham transfer rumours
Football Insider now also say that the Lilywhites have registered their interest in Wales international goalkeeper in the summer.
However, the outlet suggests that it may be a ‘huge risk’ for Leeds not to offer Darlow a new deal, given how crucial he has proven in their quest to survive in the Premier League.
The report also points out that Farke praised his goalkeeper following his side’s 3-0 win over Wolves at Elland Road, which could be a sign that the German coach is sending to the Yorkshire club’s hierarchy.
Farke said about Dalot in his post-match press conference: “Top-class save from Darlow. One or two nervy moments in the second half. Massive step forward. Crucial win. Reaching 39 points is amazing.”
Two other Premier League goalkeepers are also on Spurs’ radar
Darlow is not the only Premier League goalkeeper being eyed by the Lilywhites, with some reports indicating that Roberto De Zerbi could look to reunite with Bart Verbruggen at Tottenham.
The goalkeeper most heavily linked with a move to Spurs is James Trafford, who is expected to leave Man City in search of regular game time.
However, according to some reports, Aston Villa are currently ahead of Tottenham in the race for the City goalkeeper’s signature.
