Daniel Levy is a victim of crime outside the new Spurs stadium

Tottenham Hotspur chairman Daniel Levy has had his car broken into outside the new stadium.

According to the Daily Mirror, Levy had parked his car at the Sainsbury’s car park which is located next to the club’s Lilywhite House offices due to the club’s new underground car park located in the bowels of the stadium is not ready.

Levy’s vehicle was one of several belonging to Tottenham officials that was a victim of criminal activity after it was discovered on CCTV that thieves had used a device to prise open the boot.

The club refused to comment on the incident which is another negative headline in a long saga surrounding the stadium that has experienced delays due to issues with critical safty systems,

Tottenham have already confirmed that they will play the remainder of their fixtures this year at Wembley and will make a further announcement early next month on the progress of the development.
