Daniel Levy reveals the two things he is asking Santa for this Christmas – Fingers crossed Spurs fans

Tottenham Hotspur will look to round off an amazing 2019 with some more wins over the next week as they prepare to welcome Chelsea to the new stadium.

Spurs play Chelsea this Sunday, before hosting Brighton on Boxing Day, and facing an away trip against Norwich on the 28th, their final game of the calendar year.

Tottenham have won four of their last five Premier League games under Jose Mourinho, with a loss away to Man United the only blemish on his record.

Pochettino was sacked by Daniel Levy and the board before he had a chance to lift his first trophy with the Lilywhites, and Levy may have hinted that he has one eye on a piece of silverware this year.

The club chairman claimed that he had two wishes for Santa this year, both involving Tottenham. The first was to finish in the top four and the second was to win a trophy.

He said (Football London): “So I want you all to have a fantastic Christmas, but…

“We all want Christmas presents. So I asked Father Christmas for one or two. Mine were: to finish in the top four, and win a trophy.

“So let’s have a fantastic 2020, and a happy new year. Thank you.”
