Danny Rose is back in action for Spurs today

Tottenham Hotspur have confirmed the starting line up for the Under-23s Premier League 2 fixture against Leicester City at Hotspur Way this afternoon.

The team announcement has revealed that Danny Rose has been selected in the starting eleven with the England international currently out of favour under Jose Mourinho.

Rose is joined in the side by Jack Clarke and Harvey White, who both featured in Thursday evening’s 4-0 Europa League win against Ludogorets.

There is also a start for Tottenham’s 16-year-old summer signing from Wigan, Alfie Devine who tasted pre-season action with Mourinho’s side earlier this year.

Rose has previously turned out for Wayne Burnett’s young side when he featured in the team which faced Derby County earlier this month.

The 30-year-old who is out of contract in the summer was not handed a squad number by the North London club for this season and looks set to bring the curtains down on his long-term association with the side who he joined from Leeds United in 2007.
