It has been confirmed that Tottenham Hotspur FA Cup fourth-round clash against Manchester City will take place on Friday, January 26, with kick-off scheduled for 9 pm.
That means that Spurs will have 12 days of rest ahead of the clash, following their trip to Old Trafford to play Manchester United this Sunday.
With the likes of Cristian Romero, Micky van de Ven and Ryan Sessegnon already back in training, Ange Postecoglou will perhaps be hoping that the near two-week break will also see the return of James Maddison and Manor Solomon.
Spurs will be without trio for Man City FA Cup clash
There is very little chance that either Pape Sarr or Son Heung-min will be back for that clash, with Senegal and South Korea fancied to go to the latter stages of the AFCON and Asian Cup respectively.
Son plays his final group stage match on January 25, meaning even if South Korea are dumped out early, he will still unlikely be able to make it back in time.
There is perhaps an outside chance that Yves Bissouma could be back, with Mali playing their final group stage game against Namibia on January 24.
With the FA Cup representing Tottenham’s best chance of winning silverware this season, one would expect Postecoglou to name the strongest team available to him, just like he did against Burnley in the third round.

Spurs Web Opinion
The one thing that I am certain about is that Man City will overcome the jinx of not being able to score at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium as it will likely be a very open game. I would be quite confident going into the game if James Maddison recovers in time for the clash
