Michael Dawson believes that the race for a Champions League place will go down to the final game of the season.
Tottenham face competition from Liverpool, Manchester City and Aston Villa for fourth spot in the Premier League.
Dawson told Spurs TV Online: “There’s a long way to go. That fourth spot is still anyone’s for the taking, as it will be until the last day of the season I believe.
“We’ve just got to keep believing – that’s all we can do. There’s been a few games we could have got more out of, but that’s football and other teams will be saying the same thing.
“We’re in there with a chance so we’ve got to believe in ourselves and stay positive in our quality hopefully coming through and showing.
“When it comes to training, we just have to focus on the next game and we’re looking forward to Wigan now and hopefully putting previous games behind us.”
