Dawson: We were great against Arsenal

Michael Dawson - Tottenham Hotspur News

Michael Dawson’s injury woes were lifted when he watched Spurs beat Arsenal 2-1 last Sunday.

Dawson sat on the back row of the bench with his team-mates and was delighted to see Kyle Walker score his first goal.

Dawson said: “It was funny with Kyle’s winner. I was sat on the bench with Danny Rose and as it came to him, just before he took the touch, Danny said: ‘he’s got this’ and suddenly, it was a goal.

“Everyone was saying ‘wow’. We’re all delighted for Kyle, he’s been fantastic. You don’t always get the plaudits as a defender but he’ll be a fans’ hero now.

“It was great for Kyle but all the lads were fantastic. Scott Parker, (Emmanuel) Adebayor have come in and been great. We’ve got all the flair players in the world, but Scotty has been fantastic, and back-to-front we were great against Arsenal.

“The lads were absolutely different class.”

  1. we were not great to be honest, and GREAT ain't an adjective.
The most important thing was we won.Years ago Arsenal came to the White Hart and played us off the pitch but Alan Gilzean popped in our winner. Isn't it better to beat the scum with them having all the play? Makes their cunts eat their fucking hearts out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
